Our team

We are a small team of developers and consultants with over 25 years of consulting experience, including at McKinsey, Partners In Performance and Booz Allen, working in all aspects of Continuous Improvement and large Transformation programs, across multiple sectors including Resources, Manufacturing, Transport, Chemicals and Financial Services. We have seen first-hand the challenges in implementing improvement.

Our mission: ‘Helping organizations to improve’

Lypta is an ancient Norse word meaning ‘Lift’ which encompasses our organization’s main purpose of ‘lifting’ your organization’s performance whether it’s by deploying Continuous Improvement or implementing a transformation program within your organization.

We are passionate about making performance improvement happen for our clients with fast, tangible and sustainable impact. We believe that your success is our success. We measure success by the engagement and impact achieved at our clients.

We have led and supported many improvement programs within both large and small companies around the world and know first hand the many challenges of making change happen both for:

  • Continuous Improvement programs
  • Step change transformational programs and turnarounds

Our design philosophy

The main problem we’ve seen for anyone working in Continuous Improvement or large Transformations, is that successfully delivering major change is hard:

  • It’s hard defining the ‘right’ initiatives that align with your strategic priorities
  • It’s hard successfully establishing and managing the required improvement processes and systems to deliver results quickly and sustainably
  • And, lastly, it’s hard bringing everyone on the journey

But in this day and age it should not, at least, be hard to use technology to support this effort. And yet, in our experience, it’s way harder and more frustrating than it should be:

  • Some organizations are still using multiple spreadsheets to track their ideas with all the attendant issues (access issues, no visual reporting, limited capabilities)
  • Other organizations struggle with multiple systems or systems that are difficult to use

At Lypta, we wanted to design a system from the bottom-up to be:

  • Fast, easy to use and work everywhere and easy to configure to your needs
  • Fully functionality to manage both your ideas and initiatives
  • Supports all change processes (stage gating, implementation planning, target setting, running progress reviews and more…)
  • Provides a direct connection to everyone in your workforce

In summary, Lypta software brings an ‘always-on’ change capability for organizations looking to manage implementation – from Continuous Improvement to large Transformations.
