Over 25 years of consulting experience, including most recently 10 years at McKinsey, working in all aspects of Continuous Improvement and large Transformation programs, across multiple sectors including Resources, Manufacturing, Transport, Chemicals and Financial Services, Mark has seen first-hand the challenges in implementing improvement.
Founder's message
The main problem I’ve seen for anyone working in Continuous Improvement or large Transformations, is that successfully delivering major change is hard:
- It’s hard defining the ‘right’ initiatives that align with your strategic priorities
- It’s hard successfully establishing and managing the required improvement processes and systems to deliver results quickly and sustainably
- And, lastly, it’s hard bringing everyone on the journey
But in this day and age it should not, at least, be hard to use technology to support this effort. And yet, in my experience, it’s way harder and more frustrating than it should be:
- Some organizations are still using multiple spreadsheets to track their ideas with all the attendant issues (access issues, no visual reporting, limited capabilities)
- Other organizations struggle with multiple systems or systems that are difficult to use
At Lypta, we wanted to design a system from the bottom-up to be:
- Fast, easy to use and work everywhere and easy to configure to your needs
- Fully functionality to manage both your ideas and initiatives
- Supports all change processes (stage gating, implementation planning, target setting, running progress reviews and more…)
- Provides a direct connection to everyone in your workforce
